Praise be to God, who has enlightened the hearts of the knowers with the light of knowledge and certainty, and guided their minds to understand the tenets of religion. Peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, the Master of the First and the Last, and may God be pleased with his family and his blessed Companions. As for what follows, the science of Islamic creed is the highest and most honorable of all sciences, as it relates to explaining the tenets of true faith, by which a person's belief and worship are valid. The Islamic Ummah has devoted great attention to matters of faith, as they constitute the fundamental foundation upon which the servant's relationship with his Lord is built, and upon which he submits and surrenders to Him. Scholars have spared no effort in this regard, composing and writing on Islamic creed with the aim of explaining it to the people.
