Psychological motivations for practicing sports activity in fitness centers For women in the western region (Libya)

This research aims to study the psychological motivations that drive women to practice sports activities in fitness centers in Tripoli. The descriptive analytical approach was used to collect data from a sample of women practicing sports activities in these centers. The motivations studied include psychological motivations. The results showed that psychological motivations, such as improving mood, reducing stress, and increasing self-confidence, were among the most important reasons that motivated women to regularly practice sports activities. The study recommends promoting environments that encourage women’s participation and providing psychological support in fitness centers.
