This study aimed to critique and analyze the first-year secondary school information technology textbook from the perspective of teachers in schools in the Qasr Bin Ghashir municipality. To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive methodology was employed. The researcher developed a questionnaire and distributed it to a random sample of 20 teachers. Statistical analysis revealed that the teachers' critiques of the first-year secondary school information technology textbook overwhelmingly agreed that it contains essential information for students regarding databases. Furthermore, the study indicated that students can develop computer skills upon completion of this course. Additionally, a suitable teaching environment, including appropriate materials and teaching aids, facilitates the effective delivery of information to students.
