The roles of elementary school teachers in the light of constructivist theory
Abstract
This search aimed to identify the roles of elementary school teachers in light of the constructivist theory from their perspective in Zliten city. The search utilized the descriptive analytical approach. The results showed that the participants' responses to the overall degree of the questionnaire on the roles of elementary school teachers in light of the constructivist theory were moderate. There was no statistically significant difference in the mean responses of the participants based on gender. However, differences were found based on variables such as years of experience and academic qualification. The search made several recommendations, the most important of which is to provide training courses and workshops for elementary school teachers in Zliten to enhance their performance and develop their skills in effective educational roles, especially for teachers with less than 5 years of experience.
