Evaluating the role of the faculty of Education at Gulf of Sidra University in preparing gualified graduates to meet the labor market needs from the perspective of faculty members

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the role of the Faculty of Education at the University of Gulf of Sidra in preparing its graduates to meet the needs of the labor market from the perspective of the faculty members. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive method as it is suitable for this study. To collect data, a customized questionnaire was used, covering four main areas: academic preparation, educational preparation, cultural preparation, and professional preparation. The study population included all full-time faculty members, totaling 20, in the college for the Spring

semester of 2023-2024. The study sample consisted of all 20 members, who were selected using the comprehensive survey method.

Results Obtained from the Study:

The results obtained from the study indicate that the Faculty of Education at the University of Gulf of Sidra produces graduates with a high level of competency to meet the labor market needs. It received a "Very Good" evaluation from the perspective of the faculty members in the academic, educational, and professional fields.
