Abstract

Educational tests use for a variety of determinations, counting placing students in right educational programs, detecting students’ strengths and weaknesses, confirming competence in particular knowledge and skill extents, selecting students for entrance, and testing for the knowledge and skills crucial in licensure and guarantee testing. This study designates the use of educational tests in national settings, directing on the use of tests in Libya. Highlighting the educational testing achieves in this country demonstrates many of the similarities elaborate in educational testing, but also illustrates radical differences that affect the use and evaluation of tests. International testing activities are described, such as the actual worth is in tapping all that data composed:

  • By an indicative test, teacher may portion what students previously knows and what they will need to learn in the imminent unit.
  • Formative tests benefit tutors and paternities display an evolution a apprentice is making on a regular foundation.
  • A standard test may be used as an initial baton of whether students have met the lesson’s goals, permitting teachers to reteach ideas that the student may be hostile through.

The study debates the issues in educational testing, such as technical quality and validity, as well as current tendencies and future directions.
