This study examines the phenomenon of Hadrami migration to Andalusia through a historical-analytical lens, tracing its trajectories from the early waves of the Islamic conquest to the period of political and intellectual empowerment between the fifth and seventh centuries AH. The research aims to uncover the pivotal role played by descendants and families of Hadrami origin in shaping the Andalusian landscape. It argues that affiliation with the tribes of Hadramawt was not merely a kinship bond but evolved into a catalyst for political influence, manifested in the establishment of independent states and the occupation of high-ranking offices, including governorships, vizierates, and the judiciary. Furthermore, the study highlights the scholarly contributions of this group, reviewing their efforts in teaching, authorship, and the patronage of intellectual movements. This confirms that the Hadrami identity remained a dynamic and influential force within the Andalusian fabric for several centuries following its initial settlement.
