This research examines the stereotypical image of women in the media from a comparative sociological perspective, focusing on analyzing previous studies, their objectives, methods, and results. The research adopted a descriptive, analytical, comparative approach and content analysis, based on the theory of cultural cultivation. The results revealed that the media often reproduces the image of women as an aesthetic symbol or a subordinate, ignoring their intellectual, political, and leadership roles. The research concludes that it is necessary to adopt conscious media strategies to promote diversity and fair representation, while training personnel in responsible critical discourse. The media is one of the most prominent means of reshaping the stereotypical image of women, as it influences society's perceptions of them. This research aims to study and analyze these images from a comparative sociological perspective to understand the nature of these representations and their effects on society.
