Tourism Attractions in Germa City, Southern Libya A Study in Tourism Geography

This research examines the tourism components of Germa, focusing on both natural and human (historical and archaeological) attractions that can be utilized to transform the area into a major tourist destination. It also identifies key obstacles and challenges hindering tourism development. To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive and historical methodology was adopted, leading to several findings. The most significant result is that the region possesses essential tourism assets that could establish it as a prominent tourist destination. Additionally, several recommendations have been proposed to enhance domestic tourism and position Libya on the global tourism map by capitalizing on its tourism potential.
