The expected impact of cloud computing on the quality of financial reports: "From the perspective of Libyan commercial bank employees"

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the expected impact of applying cloud computing on the quality of financial reports in Libyan commercial banks, from the point of view of employees in Libyan commercial banks. Among the most important findings of the study are: The use of cloud computing positively enhances the quality of financial reports. It has been proven that the application of cloud computing contributes to reducing data loss and providing honest, easy-to-understand, timely and verifiable reports. In addition, it contributes In improving the accuracy and transparency of reports, which enhances the ability to predict, it also supports various decision-making, which achieves the quality of financial reports. Moreover, cloud computing ensures the security and protection of data, which enhances confidence in the integrity of the information. The study set out a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the need for commercial banks in Libya to adopt the use of cloud computing technologies as one of the information technology innovations. Because of the technical and economic advantages it provides, the banks benefit directly without bearing the burden of owning this technology.
