Transactions of Public Service Offices in Libya in Light of Islamic Jurisprudence: An Inductive and Applied Study

Abstract

This research examines the transactions conducted by public service offices that have recently proliferated in Libya, as well as their legal classification under Islamic jurisprudence. The researcher adopted an inductive, analytical, and comparative approach. The first section of the study addresses the most important legal principles governing these transactions, while the second section examines the various forms of these transactions and their legal classification. The study reached several conclusions, including that while such transactions are generally permissible, many of them involve prohibited acts such as Riba, bribery, and unjust enrichment
