Abstract

To evaluated the effect of integrated application of humic acid and sulfur on some growth attributes and yield of Mize, a field experiment was conducted on autumn season 2025, in southern Libya, a soil was loamy sand in texture. The treatments included four levels of humic acid viz: 0, 3, 4, 6 kg ha-1, and four levels of sulfur viz 0, 100, 200, 300 kg ha-1. The experimental design was completely randomized block design RCBD, with three replications. The results showed that the combined application of humic acid and sulfur fertilizer had a significant effect (p <0.05) on the growth and yield characteristics of maize, leading to increases in plant height, cob length, cob weight, number of grains per cob, and grain yield compared with the control treatment. The treatment of 6 kg ha-1 humic acid along with 300 kg ha-1 was the best treatment, whereas, recorded the highest value of attributes growth and crop yield.
