Critics differ in their judgment of men

Abstract

The science of criticism and modification is one of the most prominent sciences that distinguished the Islamic nation in preserving the Sunnah of its Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. It was distinguished by establishing precise critical principles for evaluating men and narrators. The disagreement among critics in their judgment of men is the focus of this research. Tracing the causes of disagreement, its types, and its effects, while highlighting the controls established by the people of hadith to control this disagreement, is the focus of this research.
