The Relationship Between Strategic Planning and Human Resource Management "A Field Study on Mellitah Oil and Gas Company"

This study seeks to identify the degree of strategic planning practice at Mellitah Oil and Gas Company (MOG) and the effectiveness of human resource management functions at MOG. It also aimed to identify the relationship between strategic planning and human resource management functions at MOG. The researcher used a descriptive and analytical approach, and a questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The study population comprised all employees at MOG, and the study sample consisted of (118) individuals. The study reached the following key findings:
- The statistical results of testing the first sub-hypothesis indicated that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (0.05) between the practice of strategic planning and the effectiveness of job description preparation processes at MOG.
- The statistical results of testing the second sub-hypothesis indicated that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (0.05) between the practice of strategic planning and the effectiveness of human resource planning processes at MOG.
- The statistical results of testing the third sub-hypothesis indicated that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (0.05) between the practice of strategic planning and the effectiveness of human resource training and development processes at Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.
- The statistical results of testing the fourth sub-hypothesis indicated that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (0.05) between the practice of strategic planning and the effectiveness of the incentive system at Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.
- The statistical results of testing the main hypothesis also indicated that there is a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (0.05) between the practice of strategic planning and the effectiveness of human resource management performance at Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.
