The degree to which university professors possess educational and professional qualities, from the perspective of department heads and quality coordinators at the Faculty of Education, Misuratau University

This research aimed to identify the educational and professional qualities of university professors from the perspective of department heads and quality coordinators. The sample consisted of 32 department heads and quality coordinators. Statistical methods were used, and the most important findings of this research are:
-The evaluation by department heads and quality coordinators at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, of the degree of availability of educational qualities among faculty members was moderate, with an agreement rate of 70.7.
-The evaluation by department heads and quality coordinators at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, of the degree of availability of professional qualities among faculty members was moderate, with an agreement rate of 69.3%.
- There were no statistically significant differences between the average opinions of the research sample regarding the degree of availability of educational and professional qualities of university professors, as perceived by department heads and quality coordinators at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University, based on gender.
The research reached a set of recommendations, including: promoting and activating the use of modern technologies in university teaching and motivating and encouraging faculty members to develop teaching methods and programs within the college, in line with modern trends in this field.
