The impact of using e-learning on developing creative thinking skills in mathematics among first-year secondary school students

الملخص

The current study aims to identify the impact of using e-learning on developing creative thinking skills in mathematics for first-year secondary school students. The study used a quasi-experimental approach, and the study sample included two groups of first-year secondary school students at Muhammad Abdul Karim Secondary School in the city of Qarabulli. The study sample consisted of (50) male and female students, one of which was an experimental group consisting of (25) male and female students, and the other a control group consisting of (25) male and female students. The study was limited to testing creative thinking skills (fluency, originality, and flexibility). The study reached the following results:

1. There was a statistically significant difference at the level of α<= 0.05 between the average scores of students in the experimental and control groups in the post-test of the creative thinking test, in favor of the experimental group students.
2. There was a statistically significant difference at the level of α<= 0.05 between the average scores of students in the experimental group in the pre-test and post-test of the creative thinking test, in favor of the post-test.
