تواجه حماية العمال قانونيًا العديد من الصعاب في ظل قوانين العمل الحالية. من أبرزها: صعوبة تطبيق القوانين، وتفاوت تفسيرها، وعدم وعي العمال بحقوقهـــــــــم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تتأثر هذه الحماية بتغيرات سوق العمل السريعة، مثل التحول الرقمي وظهور أشكال عمل جديدة. كل هذه العوامل تؤثر سلبًا على قدرة العمال على المطالبة بحقوقهم الأساسية، مثل الأجر العادل والظروف العمــــل الآمنة، كما تواجه حماية العمال تحديات كبيرة في ظــــل التطورات السريعة لسوق العمل والقوانين الناظمة له. على الرغم من وجود تشريعات وقوانين تحمي حقوق العمال، غير أن هنالك الكثير من التحديات التي تحد من فعالية هذه الحماية وتؤثر سلباً على حياة العمال وكرامتهم.
