خلصت الدراسة إلى أن التدخلات الإقليمية الخارجية تقف دون تفعيل للقدرات العربية الجماعية وتكمن خطورة هذا الأمر في أن التدخلات الخارجية تحمل دوماً في طياتها الأطماع التوسعية الجغرافية وسط النفوذ الخارجي علي حساب السيادة الوطنية العربية وخلصت الدراسة أيضاً الي تضارب المصالح الوطنية لكل الدول العربية وتقديم كل دولة مصلحتها الخاصة علي مصلحه الوطن العربي العامة، كما خلصت الدراسة أيضاً الي أن اعتماد الأمن القومي العربي لعدد من الدول العربية جزئياً وكلياً علي الدعم الخارجي مما يجعل الدول الداعمة متحكمة في سياده وقرارات الدول العربية مما يؤدي إلي الفشل الدائم في التمكن من تطوير قدرات الدفاع واتخاذ القرارات المشتركة الموحدة التي تصب في مصلحه الوطن العربي.
