Controversial issues between Ibn Malik and the Kufians in his book, “Sabk al-Manzum wa-Fak al-Makhtum”

Grammarians differed on the issue of adding (man) into two schools of thought:
The first school of thought: the permissibility of adding (man), which is the school of thought of Al-Kisa’i, attributed to him by Ibn Asfour, Ibn Malik, Ibn Al-Shajari, Abu Hayyan, Ibn Aqil, Ibn Hisham, and Al-Suyuti. Some of them transmitted this school of thought from the Kufians, as Ibn Malik did in his book, “Sabk Al-Manzum Wa Fak Al-Makhtum.”
